A boy’s father thought that a student at the middle school on the 7100 block of Hacienda Way in Felton had battered his son at 9 a.m. It was determined that the boy’s friend had pulled a chair out from under him, and the boy had hit the back of his head on the chair.

Without being provoked, a man attacked another man and hit him in the head and arms five or six times, causing injuries that required seven staples to the head at 8 p.m. on Highway 9 in Ben Lomond.

A man was arrested at 12:10 p.m. on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road in Felton on suspicion of taking merchandise from a store without paying for it and on suspicion of public intoxication.

A man said that another man approached him and punched him at 12:25 a.m. on Highway 9 in Felton.

An underage young man who was drinking at a party on the 2000 block of Bean Creek Road in Scotts Valley lost his balance and fell down an embankment. He was taken to Valley Medical Center in Santa Clara for treatment.
May 18
A man sprayed mace at two other men at 9 a.m. on Deer Creek Road in Boulder Creek. The man then rammed his truck three times into a van owned by one of the victims.

Someone spray-painted letters on the wall of a business at 5:20 p.m. on the 4300 block of Scotts Valley Drive.

During an argument between a woman and her fiancé, the woman’s 8-year-old daughter was accidentally pushed into a doorframe at 4:59 p.m. in eastern Scotts Valley. No injuries occurred.
May 27
Someone stole a purse containing numerous credit cards, identification and personal property from an unlocked vehicle at 10:38 a.m. on the 3100 block of Scotts Valley Drive.

A woman stole a box of diapers from a grocery store at
2:33 p.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road.

An employee of a coffee shop on the 5600 block of Scotts Valley Drive discovered a counterfeit $10 bill at 5:30 a.m.
