6 p.m.: A man struck his young daughter several times with a hairbrush and his hands on Whispering Pines Drive. The father has a history of violence, and the case was forwarded to Child Protective Services.
10:23 a.m.: A teenager on probation was arrested after he was found with a knife on the 4600 block of Scotts Valley Drive.
