**Someone tried to break through an outside bedroom door at 8:45 p.m. on the 4200 block of Scotts Valley Drive.

**A 29-year-old man who caused a disturbance on the 100 block of Mount Hermon Road at 3:21 a.m. was arrested after it was determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance.

**Someone went into a bank on the 4500 block of Scotts Valley Drive at 3 p.m. and tried to withdraw $1,900 from an account. The person used a fake Florida driver’s license with the account holder’s information. In the end, the suspect fled from the bank without the money.
July 19
**A 32-year-old man driving on the 4300 block of Scotts Valley Drive was stopped for a cell phone violation at 5:42 p.m. The man turned out to be driving with a suspended license, and he was cited and released.
**A young person was arrested on suspicion of stealing alcohol from a grocery store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road at 8:11 p.m. The person was taken to the police station and released, with a court date, to a parent.
**A woman on the 100 block of Terrace View Drive lent her vehicle to another woman, “Melissa,” to go to the store and told her to be back in an hour. She never returned, and the first woman called the police. “Melissa” was stopped by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office at 10:10 a.m. the next day, and the vehicle was recovered.

**A man’s wallet was stolen from his backpack while he rode a bus on Highway 9 near Felton at 3:40 p.m. The wallet and contents were valued at less than $100.

**A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 6:40 p.m. on the 5700 block of Highway 9 in Felton.
**Two men and a woman were arrested for various drug-related offenses at 8:45 a.m. on the 100 block of Orchard Drive in Boulder Creek.
