Someone reportedly entered a Scotts Valley home through an unlocked door but took nothing at 5:30 a.m. on the 300 block of Spreading Oaks Drive.

A man was found with a glass methamphetamine pipe while being arrested on a parole warrant at midnight on the 600 block of Lorenzo Avenue.
Sept. 14
A witness saw a man vandalizing a vehicle and identified him by photograph at 10:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Hillview Drive in Felton. The man was already in custody on an unrelated charge and was re-booked on suspicion of felony vandalism.

Items were taken from a Boulder Creek woman’s locked studio at 10:34 p.m. on the 300 block of Juanita Road.

Sept. 19
A 22-year-old Boulder Creek man was caught trespassing in the library construction area, reportedly to try to steal items he could later sell, at 9:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Kings Village Road. Police caught the man after someone called to report him as a suspicious person.

Someone took a lot of recyclable copper cable wires and plugs at 2:28 p.m. from a rear storage area on the 200 block of Technology Drive.

An 18-year-old was found with marijuana after he was stopped for speeding at 11:15 p.m. on the 6000 block of La Madrona Drive.
