Someone smashed the back window of a woman’s car and caused $300 worth of damage at midnight on the 200 block of Melin Avenue in Ben Lomond.
A man threatened a woman’s life over the telephone and then showed up at her house brandishing a firearm at 4:20 a.m. on the 9000 block of Brookside Avenue in Ben Lomond.

Someone entered a woman’s unlocked car and stole her purse, which held items worth $1,522, at 4 p.m. on the 7600 block of Hihn Road in Ben Lomond.

A man stood nude on his property and posed for his female neighbors while they watched at 1:20 p.m. on the 400 block of Ridge Road in Boulder Creek.
Sept. 25
A woman told police that a man beat her when she was served with restraining order papers at 8:45 a.m. on the 600 block of West Road in Boulder Creek.

Oct. 2
Police arrested an apparently drunken man staggering down the street at 2:32 p.m. on 5400 block of Scotts Valley Drive and took him to Santa Cruz County Jail in Santa Cruz, where he was booked on suspicion of public intoxication.
Oct. 1
Two teenage boys were caught leaving Nob Hill Foods, 222 Mount Hermon Road, with stolen items. After they both tried to run away, one boy was caught at 8:01 p.m.
Sept. 29
Five teens were caught vandalizing a playground with permanent markers at 5:10 p.m. on the 300 block of Kings Village Road. After cleaning up their mess, they were released to their parents.
A drunken man was arrested at 8:01 p.m. in the Quick Stop parking lot, 5400 Scotts Valley Drive, and booked on suspicion of public intoxication.
Sept. 27
An acquaintance stole $900 in cash and other items from a woman’s home while she was away at 2 p.m. on the 100 Block of Cathy Lane.
