**A man reported that his mail was stolen from his mailbox at midnight on the 14000 block of Highway 9 in Boulder Creek.

**An intoxicated man was found crawling in the middle of the road and was taken into custody as unable to care for himself at 7:55 p.m. on the 300 block of Covered Bridge Road in Felton.
Oct. 6
**Two men were arrested on suspicion of residential burglary after deputies found them in the midst of a break-in at 11:30 p.m. on the 5900 block of Valley Drive in Felton. Both appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

**A husband choked his wife during an argument at 1:35 a.m. in Brookdale.
Sept. 30
**A 27-year-old homeless man, John Forsythe, was found dead in the San Lorenzo River in Boulder Creek by friends. A sheriff’s spokesperson said he had suffered an epileptic seizure and drowned. No foul play is suspected.

**A woman reported that a Nintendo DS game console was stolen from her home at 6:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Navigator Drive. She said she suspects a man who worked on her plumbing, but the plumber denied the accusation.
Oct. 5
** Someone used a crowbar to open the side door of a building and stole extension cords, tools and copper wiring at 5:30 p.m. on the 200 block of El Pueblo Road.
**A woman was seen hiding items she did not pay for in her purse but was apprehended at 1:10 p.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
Oct. 4
**A woman tried to fill a fraudulent prescription for Vicodin at 10:56 a.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
**A man tried to steal merchandise but was caught at 4:59 p.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
Sept. 26
Someone entered an opened garage at 9 p.m. on the 300 block of Tabor Drive and stole two motorcycle helmets off a shelf. The helmets were worth about $900.
