**A drunken woman was taken to Santa Cruz County Jail for causing a disturbance in the Brookdale Lodge parking lot at midnight on the 11000 block of Highway 9 in Brookdale.

**A woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs at 11:55 p.m. on the 100 block of Felton Empire Grade.

**A teenage girl punched her mother in the face at 10:14 p.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road. No charges were filed.
Oct. 27
**Two women got into a punching fight at 11 p.m. on the 500 block of Bean Creek Road. Neither wanted to press charges, and they agreed to stay apart for the night.
**One teenager punched another teen while they walked home from school at 2:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Bean Creek Road. The two have history of arguments, but the mother of the victim did not wish to pursue charges.
**Someone took an unlocked bike from a school bike rack at 1:32 p.m. on the 500 block of Glenwood Drive.

n Someone vandalized the men’s restroom at 9:20 p.m. and smashed the tiling and drywall of a toilet, leaving a 4-foot by 2-foot hole in the wall, on the 5600 block of Scotts Valley Drive.
Oct. 25
**A student at Scotts Valley Middle School was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a knife at 11:54 a.m. on the 100 block of Bean Creek Road. The student was released to school staff, and a report was forwarded to probation.
