**Someone broke the window of the San Lorenzo Valley Elementary School cafeteria in Felton at 10:30 p.m., deputies were told the person reportedly tried to get into the kitchen but was unable to open the doors, which were chained from the inside.

**A man was cited and released on the 9400 block of Mill Street in Ben Lomond after he reportedly drank an energy drink inside the store without paying for it at 4:40 p.m.
n A Boulder Creek woman reported at midnight that $2,627 in cash was taken from her purse after she left it in a bathroom on the 13000 block of Highway 9.

Jan. 23
**Officers went to the 300 block of Kings Village Road at 2:29 p.m. after someone reported two young people fighting. The case was sent to the juvenile probation department.
**Officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Scotts Valley Drive and Granite Creek Road at 1:48 p.m. because of a burned-out brake light. The driver was arrested after police found he was wanted on a Kansas warrant.

**A MoneyGram valued at $214 was reported as stolen at 1:38 p.m. on the 3100 block of Glen Canyon Road
**Someone reported that a shower curtain had been torn from the rod in a clubhouse restroom on the 400 block of Whispering Pines Drive sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 21 and 11:15 a.m. the next day.

**A woman on the 4500 block of Scotts Valley Drive told police at 9 a.m. that a man who was recently released from jail had called her repeatedly since 10:30 p.m. the night before. She said the man used obscenities and insults.
**A 24-year-old man was arrested at 3:26 a.m. on southbound Highway 17 at the Granite Creek exit after displaying signs of intoxication. A search revealed that he was also wanted on a warrant in Santa Clara County.
Jan. 19
**Someone stole an unattended backpack while the owner shopped on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road at 7:19 p.m.
**Two people argued and fought on the 100 block of Santa’s Village Road at 3:35 p.m. One wanted to press battery charges against the other. Review of security camera footage showed the pair engaged in mutual combat.
**An unknown person took several items from an unlocked vehicle at 11 a.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
Jan. 17
**At 3:19 p.m., a young driver was stopped for a red-light violation on the 100 block of Vine Hill School Road and was found to be in possession of marijuana for sale, police reported. The driver, a juvenile, was arrested, and the vehicle was impounded.
