Someone broke the front window of a man’s home at 10 p.m. on the 11300 block of Highway 9 to retrieve a backpack that was left there earlier in the day.

A man said that a former friend hit him in the leg with a small log while he was sleeping at midnight on the corner of Highway 9 and Park Avenue.
June 26
A fixed-blade knife with a sharpened point was found in a man’s pocket during a pat-down at 3:02 a.m. on the corner of Highway 9 and El Soyo Heights Road in Felton.
June 25
A woman tried to fight with other patrons at a bar on the 9500 block of Sunnyside Drive in Ben Lomond at 8:58 p.m. She was arrested and booked into jail.
A man nodding off in a doughnut shop at 9:40 a.m. on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road in Felton was arrested with several hypodermic needles and a small amount of heroin.
During a vehicle stop at 1 a.m. on the 6200 block of Highway 9 in Felton, a man was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine.
A man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of methamphetamine at midnight on the corner of Central Avenue and South Street in Boulder Creek.
June 23
A man suspected to be under the influence of opiates was found with heroin and drug paraphernalia and admitted to selling prescription medication at 3:45 p.m. on ighway 9 in Felton.
June 22
A drug store on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road in Felton reported a forged prescription at 10:39 a.m. The deputy contacted the hospital to verify the doctor’s signature, which did not match. The deputy contacted the doctor at his home, who contacted his wife by phone. The doctor’s wife admitted to forging the signature and passing the prescription at the drug store.
June 18
A single key was the only thing taken after a man broke into a business on the 13100 block of Central Avenue in Boulder Creek at 11 p.m.

Two iPods and a wallet were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 11 p.m. on the 100 block of Fox Sparrow Court.
June 24
Sometime between June 1 and June 24, someone used a red marker to write “Santa Cruz” and “Can’t Stop Us” along with other indecipherable words on windows and glass doors of a building on the 100 block of Janis Way.
June 23
A 39-year-old woman found the electrical cords of two appliances cut inside her house at 8 a.m. on the 100 block of Arabian way.
June 22
A 22-year-old man was arrested after he was caught concealing store merchandise under his clothing without paying for it at 1:50 p.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road.
June 20
Someone broke into a martial arts studio through the back window and stole a computer system worth $1,860 at 1 p.m. on the 5000 block of Scott Valley Drive.
A window of a business on the 4300 block of Scotts Valley Drive was broken at 5 p.m., causing about $1,000 worth of damage.
