**At 3 a.m., after a 2½ hour search, the sheriff’s search and rescue team found a hiker in Big Basin Redwoods State Park who had been missing since Saturday, April 9. The 43-year-old man was found unharmed about half a mile from the rangers’ headquarters.
April 5
**At 2:30 p.m., multiple items were reported as stolen by a resident of the 200 block of Coon Heights Road in Ben Lomond after a burglary.

**Sixty dollars was reported as stolen from the center console of a locked vehicle on the 100 block of Hacienda Drive between midnight and 3:02 p.m.
**A vehicle that had been parked overnight outside a big-box store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road was reported as stolen at 8:03 a.m. It was still missing as of April 11.
April 6
**A 41-year-old woman was arrested after officers reported finding her drunk in public at 10:05 p.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
**A 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving at 2:01 a.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road when she failed a field sobriety test after she was stopped for weaving within her lane.
April 4
**A dash-mounted cassette player was reportedly stolen out of a vehicle on the 200 block of El Pueblo Road after someone smashed the window of the driver’s door between 7:30 and 10:32 a.m.
