**At midnight, deputies reportedly spotted a woman walking in the middle of the road on Lockhart Gulch Road, near the intersection with Green Valley Road in Scotts Valley. The woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
May 21
**A Ben Lomond man was arrested at 12:30 a.m. after deputies responded to a report of domestic battery. After the arrest, an emergency protective order was issued. The man was arrested again not quite 12 hours later, at 12:20 p.m., after he reportedly called the alleged battery victim from Santa Cruz County Jail, in violation of the protective order.

**At 6:30 p.m., a woman on the 300 block of El Solyo Heights Road in Felton reported that someone had slashed the passenger-side rear tire of her vehicle.
May 16
**A resident of the 17000 block of Highway 9 in Boulder Creek reported at midnight that someone had stolen an estimated $2,000 worth of coins.
n At the same time, a resident of the 1800 block of River Road in Brookdale told police that her ATM card had been used fraudulently to the tune of $350 at several places in Southern California.

** A 29-year-old woman was cited for an outstanding warrant from Kern County and then released after she arrived at Scotts Valley police headquarters to take custody of her nephew, who had been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Kmart, 270 Mount Hermon Road. During a parole search of the woman’s car, officers found a second woman, 19, whose purse contained two bags of crack cocaine, which she admitted to having. A further search of the car by a police dog turned up a bag in the trunk that held packaging materials and drug paraphernalia.
May 20
**At 3:54 p.m., a 21-year-old man promised to appear in court after officers found, during a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Mount Hermon Road, that he was wanted on a warrant in San Mateo County.
**A 52-year-old woman was arrested on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road at 6:05 p.m. when officers who saw her walking eastbound determined that she was too intoxicated to care for herself.
May 17
**Someone reported a hit-and-run accident in the parking lot of Nob Hill Foods between 10 a.m. and 2:36 p.m. There are no known witnesses or suspects.
