Sept. 29
• A weed trimmer and two trash cans were stolen from a Ben Lomond couple’s yard at 9:30 a.m. on the 8000 block of Fremont Street.
Sept. 26
• A man under the influence of methamphetamine and marijuana felt “weird,” so he worriedly called 9-1-1 at 1:56 a.m. from the 10000 block of Lake Boulevard in Lompico. He was subsequently arrested. 
• A woman hiding in her bedroom and arrested on outstanding warrants at 8:30 a.m. on the 4500 block of Scotts Valley Drive.  
Sept. 24
• A youth was cited for having moonshine and less than an ounce of marijuana at 5:22 p.m. at Highway 9 and Covered Bridge Park.
Sept. 23
• A Scotts Valley man was contacted by the Internal Revenue Service and was told he did not report additional income earned in 2003 and 2007. Dumbfounded, he learned that another man used his Social Security number to get a job at a Denver newspaper agency.

• A Ben Lomond man reported that someone entered his yard and destroyed three of his fruit trees on the 200 block of Arden Avenue. 
• A deputy euthanized a deer at 8:28 p.m. after a car hit it on the corner of Highway 9 and Irwin Way. 
Sept. 20
• A business owner confronted a man who urinated on his company property. When the man tried to leave on his motorcycle, the business owner stood in front of it. The man drove at him and hit his forearm, knocking him off balance, at 3:48 p.m. on the 100 block of Pool Drive in Boulder Creek. The man got away. 
Sept. 12
• A man threatened two people with a shotgun, blasting shots at 1:10 p.m. on the 11000 block of Alba Road in Ben Lomond.
Sept. 11
• A Felton man returned home at midnight to find his furniture rearranged, but nothing appeared to be missing. He lives on the 40 block of Woodward Avenue.

Sept. 21
• A 28-year-old “boozed up” bicyclist hit a guardrail at 8:16 p.m. on Highway 9 at Mill Street in Ben Lomond. He was arrested for riding under the influence and taken to Dominican Hospital.
• An 18-year-old driver hit a power pole at 11:20 p.m. on Lompico Road at East Zayante Road. No one was hurt. Pacific Gas and Electric Co. fixed the pole.
Sept. 22
• A 47-year-old man was caught stealing recyclables and hurling glass bottles at 9:45 a.m. on Highland at East Zayante Road.

Sept. 25
• A driver was caught during a traffic stop when officers spotted marijuana in plain sight. A search of the vehicle yielded more weed, methamphetamine and paraphernalia at 2:52 a.m. at Lockewood Lane and Graham Hill Road. Both driver and passenger were booked into jail.
Sept. 22
• Two girls and a man stole $450 worth of booze from a store on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road at 8:30 p.m.
• A young student left his bike unattended at 8:30 a.m. on the 500 block of Glenwood Drive. When he got out of class, the bicycle was gone.
