High energy Santa Cruz favorite Extra Large headlines the final Music at Skypark concert of the year this Sunday, Sept. 30 in Scotts Valley.
The summer outdoor concert series concludes with a free show at Skypark, 360 Kings Village Road, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. hosted by the Scotts Valley Kiwanis as a fundraiser to support music programs at Scotts Valley’s public schools.
The concert will open with a performance from Funkranomicon. The band plays high-energy danceable funk and soul.  
Extra Large headlines the show with a driving, high-energy blend of funk, blues, reggae riffs, Latin beats, essence of jazz and rejuvenating soul music.                                    
The Kiwanis Club is has joined with local restaurants to serve food, beer and wine to concertgoers, with proceeds supporting the music programs. Almost $20,000 was raised last year for the schools.
