Bonny Doon Elementary School Halloween Festival
When: 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30
Where: 1492 Pine Flat Road in Bonny Doon
Details: An elementary school-aged carnival with a cake walk, games, food and more.
Cost: Free admisison; tickets will be sold for food, games and a raffle.

Felton Haunted House
When: Dusk to 10 p.m. Oct. 22, 23, 29, 30 and 31
Where: On Valley Drive in Felton between Laurel and Redwood drives. Directional signs will be posted.
Details: “Bone-chilling” family fun is promised by Kent Diethrick, Carla Richmond and friends.
Cost: Suggested donation to benefit local charities, $5 for adults, $2 for kids.

Trout Farm Haunted House

Where: Trout Farm Inn, 7701 E. Zayante Road, in Felton
Details: The first haunted house at the Trout Farm Inn
Cost: $1 for kids, $2.50 for adults

Scotts Valley High Haunted House
When: 7 p.m. Oct. 28 through 30
Where: Scotts Valley High School, 555 Glenwood Drive, in Scotts Valley
Details: Proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of Erick Murai, a junior at the school who was diagnosed with leukemia in September. The haunted house is not recommended for children younger than 10.
