A memorial service will be later this month for longtime Felton resident Joan S. Jones, who died Oct. 27 in San Luis Obispo. She was 80.
Mrs. Jones was born in Doylestown, Pa. She lived in Felton for 28 years. Relatives said she enjoyed sewing and traveling.
Survivors include her son, Terry Jones of San Luis Obispo; daughters, Susan Parde of Santa Cruz and Joanne Lemson of Boulder Creek; brother, Robert Stephens of New Jersey; and former husband, Herbert Jones of Cupertino.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild and six nieces and nephews.
The memorial service for Mrs. Jones will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Nov. 14 at Scotts Valley Community Center, 360 Kings Village Road, in Scotts Valley.
