A celebration of life will be held Feb. 23 in Pasatiempo for longtime Ben Lomond resident Joane Richter, who died Jan. 30 in Palm Springs. She was 60.
Mrs. Richter was born in Merced to Ed and Eva Jones. She lived in Ben Lomond for 30 years.
She is survived by husband Dean Richter of Ben Lomond; daughters Diane Mealiffe and her husband, Paul, of Santa Cruz and Cherisse McKinney and her husband, Scott, of Madera; and four grandchildren.
The celebration of her life will begin at 2 p.m. Feb. 23 at The Inn at Pasatiempo, 555 Highway 17, in Santa Cruz.
