Spitzer

A celebration of life will be Oct. 9 for Josephine Spitzer, who died Sept. 12 at her home in Boulder Creek. She was 88 years old.
Mrs. Spitzer was born in Indianapolis, Ind., to Anthony and Laura LaRosa. She lived in Boulder Creek the last 35 years of her life.
Relatives said she loved to play bingo and listen to Willie Nelson’s music. She had one cat, Missy.
Mrs. Spitzer is survived by her daughter, Patty Epp, and son, Joe Johnson, both of Folsom. She also had four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Spitzer.
A potluck and celebration of Mrs. Spitzer’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Oct. 9 at Scopazzi’s Restaurant and Lounge, 13300 Big Basin Way, in Boulder Creek.
