If every bicyclist and vehicle (and smart pedestrian) ran with lights on 24/7 on Highway 9, we could avoid many unfortunate collisions going from stark sunny blindness to deep dark tree shade.

I have driven this road over 30 years and it is very scary with the bikers, especially running with no lights and no bike lane. Cars painted gray without lights are invisible.

Our county is aging—help folks to actually see each other. We just need “24/7 lights on” signs similar to those on Highway 1 near Castroville from Boulder Creek to Paradise Park from CalAm, a small price to pay for a life.
