Welton

 
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday for long-time Felton resident Larry Welton who died last week. He was 56.
Mr. Welton was born in Ohio, but later moved to California where he graduated from Santa Monica High School. He spent many years traveling and always enjoyed sharing his stories about his many adventures on the road. He spent the last 30 years in Felton and loved the area and his view from his deck at home. 
He is survived by his wife, Diane; mother and step-father, Sarah and George Hazelworth of Saratoga; sisters Laura Yeany of Germantown, Maryland and Diane Welton of Tulare; brother Chad Welton of Saratoga; and many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Welton.
A Celebration of Life will held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at one of Mr. Welton’s favorite places, Don Quixote’s, 6275 Highway 9 in Felton.
