Letter: A tribute to Annette Marcum

EDITOR,
My name is Arlene LaBorde. You may have seen me at the Boulder Creek Antique Store or delivering my fund raising baskets for Valley Churches United.
Annette Marcum and I worked the St. Michael’s Pancake Breakfasts through the years, raising funds from my gift baskets.
Many memories and services were provided by Annette and her group of volunteers.
I say to you Annette Marcum, do you recall this movie?
In “It’s A Wonderful Life” the characters are Jimmy Stewart, an actor, and Clarence, an angel trying to get his wings.
Clarence stated “every time a bell rings, an angel gets their wings.”
So here’s to you Annette Marcum. I’m ringing your bell!
