Letter: Bear Creek Road is not a raceway

EDITOR,
To all of the people who drive Bear Creek Road and want it to be safe for them and their families: If you drive this road, please keep in mind that it is not a racetrack and should not be treated as one.
I was recently passed by someone on a completely blind turn, which only resulted in him being stuck behind the truck that was in front of me. My concern was for the safety of myself and the minivan that came around the corner and had to almost drive off the road — with her children in the car — to avoid being hit head-on by the incompetent driver in a hurry. This driver was driving a blue Toyota Yaris.
So, please, be safe for all of us, if not for yourself.
