Letter: Dogs have feelings, too

EDITOR,
Recently I received the newsletter regularly put out by the Santa Cruz SPCA. This is a wonderful organization that gives animals a second chance for a loving home. It talked about some people wanting to adopt a dog but admitting that they will be keeping it as a “yard dog.”
This could not be more wrong. Dogs have emotions like you. They get cold, bored, lonely. Especially yard dogs.
So, please, bring your dog inside. They want to be your companion. They want to be with you. And please support the Santa Cruz SPCA.
