Letter: Garbage is going to get picked up

EDITOR,
Getting back to Lake Avenue between Carrol and Coleman avenues in Lompico, where someone dumped their garbage all over, I would like to thank the person or persons who picked up the bags along the road.
We will be cleaning that mess up May 15,
starting at 9 a.m. Anyone who wants to help will be greatly appreciated. Bring gloves and good work shoes. The work will be on a steep slope. Bring garbage bags. We have someone that has a truck we can put trash in. The more people, the faster it gets done.
I also would like to clarify that when I wrote in a previous letter that this strewn garbage was on lower Lake Boulevard (“A disgusting dump,” March 5 Press-Banner), I was thinking again of Lake Avenue between Carrol and Coleman.
