Letter: Give up on signs

When will the sign-fixing end?
I watch, laughing to myself, at who is making a fortune every time they repair the sign warning you to keep right on the Mount Hermon Road bypass coming toward Felton, right before the Locatelli Lane exit. Is it the auto repair shops? Is it the government department that repairs the signs? Is it the sign manufacturer? Is this our own valley stimulus program? Surely, the concrete bumps that precede the sign are enough to warn errant drivers that danger lurks ahead — must you also be pounded with a sign? Give it up!
