Letter: Hart’s dedication, experience makes him ideal candidate for Sheriff

We’ve had the pleasure of being personal friends with Jim Hart for many years. We have found him to be very committed and passionate about the community that he has grown up in.  We have seen Jim spend countless hours volunteering his time, working with youth basketball players in our community.  In our opinion, Jim Hart will bring the same passion and commitment to the role as the Santa Cruz County Sheriff.
Jim Hart has successfully led every department of the Sheriff’s office working closely with Sheriff Wowak to implement the policies that have resulted in the effectiveness of the department.  It is our opinion that this experience has prepared him to effectively take over the role of Sheriff for our community.
We will be voting Jim Hart for Sheriff!
