Letter: Nightly noises

EDITOR,
I have not had a full night’s sleep since October. Somewhere near Glen Arbor Bridge in Ben Lomond there is a source of a deep, loud, constant humming noise. It is most prevalent at night between 7 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. the next morning. I know others near Coffee Corner must also hear this.
Will someone please tell me where it’s originating; and then, if you are the source of the sound, will you please turn it off?
Sounds such as this usually occur within 10,000 square feet of the source. I have walked the neighborhood, many nights, at 3 a.m., trying to locate this.
Please — this is becoming such an issue, we are considering moving out of the neighborhood we’ve been in for over 20 years.
It is harming my health. Have mercy on your neighbors.
