Letter: PG&E, Comcast crews deserve kudos

EDITOR,
I wanted to express my gratitude towards Pacific Gas and Electric Co. and Comcast. I’m not sure how many of us in the Santa Cruz Mountains realize how much we rely on PG&E. We live in a pretty and unique area that has its adversities. One of those adversities is power. All of the beauty that surrounds us can certainly have its drawbacks. But the PG&E crews (and Comcast, too!) have been overwhelmed, obviously. And I’m sure they’ve had to deal with the occasional unhappy customer. But I wanted to thank all of you for you hard work. And, I’m encouraging others to do the same. We’ve all seen the gangs of PG&E personnel and equipment throughout our communities. Be sure to thank them: a kind word, honk and wave, or perhaps a nice hot cup of coffee. To all of the crews, thank you for your service.
