EDITOR,
There was an article in a local newspaper Saturday entitled “County leads state in SmartMeter rejections.” Well, there is a good reason for this; it is because of the hard work and the valiant efforts of Joshua Hart, director of StopSmartMeters.org., and his partner, Heidi. They have brought public awareness to the issue by setting up a website, distributing information door to door, being on radio, mobilizing protests, getting people to attend the California Public Utilities Commission hearings where hundreds of individuals had the opportunity to relate their stories firsthand on how they and their pets have gotten ill immediately after SmartMeter installations. They have even been arrested for civil disobedience. Kudos to Josh and Heidi. California is a safer place to live because of their tireless effort.
