EDITOR,
People could barely get through the door into the room packed with folks from all over the 5th District, who had come last Thursday to celebrate the fact that Eric Hammer has thrown his hat in the ring to become our county supervisor. This show of support is no surprise!
From his extraordinary years of volunteer work improving the well-being of folks living here, in so many ways, to his understanding of the need to protect the health of our remarkable environment as climate change impacts our coast and our mountains, Eric has repeatedly proven his commitment, talent and capability to do a superior job at anything he takes on. At this time of extreme financial duress in our county, we need him to represent us all, so we are delighted that he wants to serve us on the board of supervisors.
