In 2005, U.S. taxpayers spent six billion hours filling in tax forms at an estimated cost of $265 billion. Why not have a flat tax that starts at the adult minimum wage and covers up to the president’s $400,000. Above that, any increase gain over the tax year would be taxed at a percentage that would cover the deficit and start to reduce the debt?
