Letters: Parents could foot the school bill

A recent letter suggested that if parents and grandparents could donate $10 each per month, $540,000 per year could be raised for the school budget crisis.
Here’s another twist on that idea. If the parents of those 2,250 students each paid $26 per month, $702,000 per year would be raised. There’s your $700,000 right there. No need to tax property owners. And it’s less than a dollar a day.
