Rockow Sparks Giants win over Rays 4-2

Majors Division
Giants 4, Rays 2
Highlights: Giants’ Owen Rockow starred by going 3-for-3 and pitching well, Nathan Pisciotta and Mitchell Gaspar singled and walked, Seth O’Brien and Sage Kaplan singled. Rays’ Jacob Utic had two hits, Reilly Merlo singled and reached base in his other two at bats, Eric Beraut singled.
Giants 7, Rangers 2
Highlights: Giants’ Mitchell Gaspar and Carson Spence both singled twice and doubled and drove in two runs, Seth O’Brien doubled and singled, Cooper Rains doubled and had two RBIs, Gaspar fanned eight batters in 3 2/3 innings, allowing only four hits and one walk.
Cardinals 4, Giants 3
Highlights: Cardinals’ Logan Hudson, Cameron McGrew and Gregory Neiger all singled, David Coates had an RBI on a hit-by-pitch and scored, Tyler Bustichi walked three times and scored, Nic Alvarez walked and scored. Giants’ Mitchell Gaspar hit a three run homer, scoring Nick Ohlsen and Nathan Pisciotta, Dylan Townley was 2-for-2, Tanner Spence singled.
AAA Division
Braves 15, Phillies 7
Highlights: Tyler Harris, Brenden Hite, Brandan Magee, Erik Olson and Lauren Shay all doubled for the Braves with Brody Affolter and Garrett Hormel each scoring three runs. Phillies’ shortstop Shane Ford had three hits and turned a double play, Zane Fuller had a two-run single, and Angelo Segretto reached base three times and scored twice.
Orioles 7, Phillies 6
Highlights: Orioles’ John Sosa doubled twice, Ben Lemus singled twice and Bryce Clark doubled, Tyler Erwin singled home the winning run with two outs and two strikes when the score was tied in the sixth.
Braves 11, Marlins 3
Highlights: Braves’ Asher Reynolds hit two balls to the fence, one for a triple, Tyler Harris had two hits and three RBIs, Brendan Magee pitched five innings and fanned seven while doubling and scoring three times, Brody Affolter had two hits and scored three times. Marlins’ Kieran Ruf had two hits, two RBIs and a hit-by-pitch, Trevor Stocker singled and scored twice with an RBI, Paul Hansen and Zach Snider both singled and were hit-by-pitch, Casey Collins walked three times and Jimmy Reed singled.
A’s 13, Orioles 12
Highlights: A’s Tyler Costere was 4-for-4, Connor Wilson, Philip Garrison and Jordan Smith had multi-RBI games, pitcher Garrison shut out the Orioles in the final two innings. Orioles’ Bryce Clark was 3-for-3, John Sosa had two hits, Ben Lemus was 3-for-3 with a double and every Oriole reached base.
Braves 13, A’s 3
Highlights: Braves’ Brody Affolter, Tyler Harris, Brenden Hite, Garrett Hormel, Cameron Kufchak, Brendan Magee and Rob Sheard all had multi-hit games; E. J. Bright had two hits for the A’s, drove in two runs and scored once.
AA Division
Volcanoes 13, Redwings 10
Highlights: Volcanoes’ Brendan Hull homered and doubled twice, Dominic Papagni-Martinez tripled, doubled and singled, Ryan Linn singled three times and doubled, Nolan Fish doubled and singled twice, Cody Pahl, Patrick Sweeney, Taylor McAdams and Ambrosio Torres all singled twice. Redwings’ Robert Hipwell doubled twice and singled, Mason Sprague singled twice and doubled, Jaron Kelley singled three times, Carson Codiga doubled twice and Aiden Paul singled twice.

Minors Division
Dodger 9 A’s 8
Trailing by three after a 4-run sixth by the A’s (including Andy Wise’s bases loaded triple), Nikolai Heinen single and Alejandro Jimenez and Quinn
Solan walked to load the bases. Kobe Pane tripled to clear the bases and tie the game! Clay Brown then grounded out on a comebacker fielder’s choice but Pane sprinted in for the winning run.
AA Division
Pirates 8, A’s 2
Pirates’ Remi Peters, Gabe Michaud, and Trevor Cambron all doubled and Nolan
Alisago’s single ended a 5-run rally. Jack Huxtable and Cambron scattered 5 hits over 5 innings
Mets 13, Giants 1
The Mets’ crushed 16 of their 22 hits in three innings of scoring. Isaac Wallace-Menge led off the third with a single. Nate Stevison later cranked a double, followed by a double from Xander Krikke, and a single from William Caddell. Quinn Hite reached base all three times for the Mets. The Giants’ RJ Kindred homered for the Giants.

Braves 11, Live Oak Padres 1
Tanner Murray and Jackson Turner threw four innings of no-walk ball, combining for 7 strikeouts. At the plate, Murray had a double off the fence, a double down the line, and a triple to right and scored all three times. Thomas Moore doubled and scored twice. Howard Forehan tripled. Mateo Ballas also doubled.
Live Oak Giants 15, SLV White Sox 5
The White Sox could not overcome a 9-run first by the Live Oak Giants. However, the Sox Tommy Andersen tried to single-handedly bring the White Sox
back in the game with two singles, reaching on an error, two runs, and a stolen base. Also, Eli Valory and Thomas Staats both had singles.
