Torres hit a walk-off home run to give the Padres a 3-2 win in extras.

In the top of the seventh, Garrett Hormel had hit a 2-run homer to right-center to give the

Phillies a 2-0 lead.

Bryce Clark and Zach Snider pitched for the Padres and Ryan Bariteau for the Phillies.

The teams combined for nine hits in the game. Clark struck out nine over 4-plus innings

and Snider struck out seven over the remainder of the game. Bariteau struck out eight and

walked none during six innings of work.

A’s pitchers Philip Garrison and E.J Bright scattered five hits over six innings and struck

out 11 in the win. Garrison also had two hits, thee RBIs and two runs, while Bright added

two singles. Zephyr Christensen doubled, singled and scored two runs for the A’s.

Ryan Bariteau hit a solo home run in the sixth for the Phillies lone run. Erik Olson

For the Sox, Terry Mirande had a 2-run double, Steven Markey doubled and scored twice

For the Orioles, Cody Edgemon had a grand slam that brought in Owen Andrews, Colyn

Salcido and Gabe Michaud while RJ Kindred had three hits and a walk, but was stranded

all four times.

Nationals 10, Red Sox 9

The Nationals scored nine runs in the first inning with Reese Castagna, Jaden Swanson,
Â
Hagen Warner, Xander Krikke all contributing to the rally. The Red Sox tied this game

in the fourth, by scoring six. Davey George singled, Mason Cada doubled, and Trent
Â
Hopping singled as part of their rally. Swanson pitched the final 2 2/3 to hold the Sox and
Â
he scored the go-ahead run in the fifth when Aidan Callahan doubled him home.

Rangers 13 Orioles 8

Christian Carney, Quinn Hite, and Isaac Wallace-Menge pitched for the Rangers and

Jacob Auldridge doubled, followed by singles by Carney and Hite to spark a first-inning

rally. Shay Monowitz, Kaleb Hedstrom and Dakota Estes all added hits for the Rangers.

For the Orioles Collin Manley and Owen Andrews had RBI singles and Gabe Michaud

tripled in Colyn Slacido who went 3-for-3.

Casey Crouch had six strikeouts in three innings and the Giants’ Josh Purtscher struck out

four in two innings. Andre Giandana had a third-inning triple driving in Aiden Largay

and Ryan Convisser to lead the D’Backs. Andrew Gudnason walked and stole second,

third and home for another run.

For the Orioles, Coleman Woolfolk, Justin Bottiger and Noah Wyman and Nolan Alisago

all singled. The A’s responded with five of their own as Marco Nell singled in Jackson

Kueny to spark the rally. Nathan Balducci had two singles for the A’s.

Brodie Brownlee tripled and Jackson Parmenter double to spark the D’Backs. For the A’s

Matthew Carney had a 2-run single and Nathan Balducci singled and stole three bases to

For the Yankees Sselby Monowitz got out of several jams with strikeouts, but the Pirates

broke through in the third with doubles by Max Baxter, Evan Hansel, Charlie Hammer

and Lulu Mattingly. For theYankees Wyatt Berridge went 2-for-2 and Sandy Monowitz
Â
singled twice.

Tristan Dean and Joey Kerns, Wyatt Runcorn all singled to the load the bases for Jayden

Hunter and Kai Groleau who singled in the winning runs.

Julian Buntz, Michael Kelly and Jack Gross all had hits and Erika Kindred doubled and
