Rangers 5, Cubs 3
The Rangers and Cubs were locked in a tight game that had great pitching and defense. Both teams got great defense in the outfield with Logan Fenn making a great catch for the Rangers and Jeremy Goodrich making two great catches for the Cubs. The Rangers were powered by Kevin Reimer and Logan Gunderson, who each had a pair of hits. But it was the triple by Kavan Stubblefield that brought in 3 RBIs to change the game from being down by a run to a 5-3 Rangers victory.
The Cubs were powered by Gabe Spitzer, who had three hits, and Winston Moses who had two hits.
Cubs 14, Reds 10
The Cubs were able to hold off the Reds 14-10 in a game that had a lot of hitting. The Cubs were powered by three hits from Cole Leonard. While Gabe Spitzer, Saashin Subramanian, Jeremy Kain, Carson Roberson and Marshall Fiorita each collected two hits for the Cubs, Nicholas Gray of the Reds had a big three-run triple. Cooper Keegan collected three hits and Jeremy Ball and Brock Siechen each had two hits for the Reds.

Blue Jays 9, Tigers 1
In the Blue Jays’ big 4th inning, Vincent Verutti got things started with a hard single. Then, Joe Kerns singled. After a pitching change, Ryan Convisser reached base and brought the top of the order up. Singles by Christian Hill and Mikey Kelly gave the Jays a five-run lead they would hold on to. The Tigers’ Noah Wyman had a single and scored on Nathan Davison’s fielder’s choice.
Red Sox 4, A’s 3
Lulu Mattingly started on the mound for the Sox, retiring three batters in order. In the second inning, the A’s bats came alive with hits from Michael Manley, Matthew Parham, Julian Buntz, Bodie Shargel and Jack Gross. Three runs scored before the inning was over. No runs were scored for the Red Sox until the fourth inning, when Ryan Hodge and Rider Saunders got singles, and Jaden Hunter drove them both in. The score stayed 3-2 until the sixth inning, when — with two outs — Saunders and Hunter hit back-to-back singles. Saunders then scored on a wild pitch, tying the game at 3-3. Micah Jewell was at bat, with a full count, when Hunter scored the winning run on a wild pitch.
For the Sox, Ryan Hodge retired 12 batters in order, with seven strikeouts. Pitching for the A’s, Connor Urbancic went five innings and struck out five.
A’s 14, Giants 6
The A’s hitters battered cars with fouls, and then straightened a couple out to pull away from the Giants.
The A’s batting leaders in this game included: Josh Purtscher, who got on base in all four plate appearances and scored three runs; Jackson Kueny, who was 3-for-4 with at triple (or a homer) and three runs scored; Michael Manley who was 3-for-4, including a double and a triple, scored two runs and drove in three; and Bodie Shargel, who was also 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI.
For the Giants, Haven Menge was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored; Dylan Arroyo scored two runs; Sandy Monowitz reached first on all three of his plate appearances via three walks; Shelby Monowitz was 2-for-2 with a walk; and Tyler Olson-Diehl was 1-for-1 with a walk and a run scored.

A’s 1, Red Sox 0
The only run of the game came on a double to right field by Quinn Abbey. Abbey advanced to third on an infield single by Mickey Ricigliano, and went on to score on a groundout by Michael Swagerty.
Pitchers Ben Calden (3 innings), Ryder Moore (2 innings), and Wyatt McCabe (1 inning) combined on a six-inning shutout.
The Red Sox pitchers — Kai Groleau and Riley Nelson — were also stellar, and both teams backed up their pitchers with several excellent plays made in the field.

Rockies 17, Braves 8
The Rockies and Braves combined for 17 hits, including five extra base hits.
Eleven runs in the first three innings helped the Rockies blow out the Braves.
By the end of the second inning, Chris Markey had an RBI groundout and a two-run single; Seamus McMillan had an RBI single and and an RBI double; Cooper Austin had an RBI walk; Andrew Gudnason had a two-run double; Riley Van Wickle had an RBI groundout; Owen Andrews had RBIs via a double and a triple; and Logan Cruz had an RBI single by Logan Cruz; and Trevor Cambron swatted an RBI triple.
