Braves 17, Phillies 4
A close game through five innings was blown open in the sixth, when the Braves scored nine runs.
For the Braves, Erik Olson had two hits, including an inside-the-park home run, Brendan Magee had three hits, including a double and three RBIs; Garrett Hormel and Tyler Harris both doubled; and Asher Reynolds and Brendan Hite had two hits each. Magee pitched two scoreless innings, striking out four, while Hormel fanned six in three innings.
The Phillies were led by Ambrose Johnson’s two-run triple, a double from Evan Foy and an RBI single from Angelo Segretto. The Phillies also flashed some leather as Josh Hollingsworth made a shoestring catch in left and Kyle Smith made a diving catch of a line drive at first.
