Diamondbacks 5, Red Sox 4
Taj Yanez scored the winning run in a game that featured 22 strikeouts by both teams including six by Red Sox starter Mark Carling and eight from the Diamondbacks’ Tanner Murray.
Scotts Valley Giants 9, SLV Diamondbacks 2
Scotts Valley Giants’ Nathan Prisciotta went 5 2/3 innings giving up six hits and striking out 12. For the D-backs, Elliot Brown and Tanner Murray had back-to-back doubles.
Diamondbacks 13, Giants 4
Trent Walker and Tanner Murray hit homeruns to lead the Diamondbacks. For the Giants, Max Crandall had a single and an RBI groundout and Vinnie Prograce and Julian Aldridge both doubled.
Red Sox 6, Pirates 4
Mark Carling struck out nine Pirates and teammate Jaden Swanson was on base three times to build an early lead. Chris Anderson had two hits and James Menzies knocked in a run for the Pirates.
Scotts Valley Phillies 5, SLV Pirates 2
Jack Kastner hit a home run to lead the Phils. Pirates Scotty MacCool, Chris Anderson, and David George combined to strike out 10 Phillies in the loss.
Minors Division
Angels 12, Cardinals 3
Riley Van Winkle doubled to drive in a run and Owen Andrews cracked an RBI single to lead the Angels.
Angels 16, Giants 7
Chris Markey went 3-for-3 with two singles and a double and scored four runs for the Angels and Aidan Callahan had four RBIs.
Noah Cole had two RBIs for the Giants and Jax Neel roped an RBI triple.
Phillies 11, Giants 9
Isaiah Gonzalez and Zach Kanter had hits for the Phillies and pitcher Brodie Brownlee battled out of a 2-on, one-out jam in the sixth to preserve the win.

Majors Division
Rays 9, Reds 0
Logan Hudson fanned 17 in a 70-pitch complete 1-hitter while walking one. Daniel Shamshoian had three hits, a run and an RBI, Kyle Raymond had two hits and scored twice, Reilly Merlo was 2-for-3 with a home run, walk and three RBIs.
For the Reds Tyler Renn pitched the first four innings and gave up just one run while striking out seven.
AAA Division
Phillies 5, SLV Pirates 2
The Phillies’ Jack Kastner hit a 2-run home run and Brendan Magee pitched a complete game as Kastner drove in four runs with three hits, Reese Gyllenhammer had a ground-rule double to left and Max Smith added two singles. Catcher Ben Lemus and second baseman Garrett Hormel each threw out runners at home. For the Pirates, starting pitcher Scotty MacCool fanned four and allowed no runs over his two innings of work. Chris Anderson also singled and scored the Pirates’ other run.
Yankees 19 – Pirates 8
Yankees’ pitchers Anthony Petrini and Arthur Soto struck out 10 between them, while Soto had four hits, Josh Booth had three and Weber Stemm added two doubles. The Pirates had fine pitching from Ambrose Johnson and Zane Fuller while Stephen Arun-Bellow and Jake Thorndlay had hits for the Pirates.
