Alexander Pollack

A hearing in Santa Cruz Superior Court is set for Friday, Aug. 3, for a 20-year-old transient who was arrested in Felton last week for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl.
Alexander Pollack, who recently moved to the Felton area, was arrested July 25 in Felton on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a child younger than 14. He remains in Santa Cruz County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
Pollack, a transient who previously lived in Tennessee, allegedly offered to drive the 13-year-old girl home after befriending her in the parking lot of the Felton Faire Shopping Center on Graham Hill and Mount Hermon roads. On the way, according the sheriff’s office, he stopped and had sexual intercourse with the girl. Members of the girl’s family found out and confronted Pollack at a gas station in Felton. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene and arrested him.
The sheriff’s office suspects that Pollack might have other victims, according to a statement issued by Deputy April Skalland.
Skalland said Pollack drives a 1993 red Toyota Celica with the license plate B1625P and repeatedly visited the Felton Faire Shopping Center. Those with information can call the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office at 471-1121 or 454-2311.
