Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, in Felton for Mark Bailey, who died at his home in Boulder Creek after a three-year fight with cancer. He was 56.
He had shared a home with his mother and stepfather for the past 2½ years while battling the disease.
Mr. Bailey graduated from Gilroy High School and worked in construction for 30 years in both California and Nevada.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Tomlin of Boulder Creek; two brothers, Chris Bailey and Greg Bailey; and a sister, Kerry Bailey.
His father, Kenneth Bailey, and stepfather, Robert “Bud” Tomlin, both preceded him in death.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Felton Presbyterian Church, 6090 Highway 9, in Felton.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Mr. Bailey’s name to Felton Presbyterian Church, 6090 Highway 9, Felton, CA 95018; or to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, CA 95066.
