Registration is ongoing for the 2014 Mountain Charlie Challenge bicycle ride to support the Scotts Valley Educational Foundation’s programs.
This year’s ride, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, will include the largest number of riding opportunities in an attempt to bring in all ages and abilities.
The ride will feature 100-mile and 100-kilometer rides that will take riders throughout Santa Cruz County; a 50-kilomter ride with more modest ascents, a 10-mile fun ride for those who aren’t necessarily training for the event; and 1 1-mile ride for children 10-and-under.
Registration is $100 for the longest ride down to $25 for the shortest and available at www.svef.net. Registration includes SAG support, rest stops and a t-shirt and barbecue lunch.
