Move or get a different dog

EDITOR,
A suggestion to Susan Kirk in regard to her staunch opposition to the Civil War re-enactment: If you have a problem with it, leave for the weekend, move or get a less-nervous dog.
Hundreds of us totally enjoy it, and, quite frankly, I couldn’t understand the observers who brought their dogs to the event, as none of them appeared to enjoy it.
As far as having a negative affect on children, it’s history, lady, and true history lessons reflect both the good and bad events that have been experienced.
