Madison Avery Smith, a 7-pound baby girl, was born at 5:42 p.m. April 22, 2013, to Nichole Raschel Venturelli and Seren Jaro Smith of Scotts Valley. She was delivered at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz.
 
Porter Tesla Fate, son of Katrina Nicole (Smith) and Matthew David Fate of Boulder Creek, was born at 4:19 a.m. April 24, 2013. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces at birth at Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center in Santa Cruz.
 
Benjamin Wallace Martin was born at 8:28 a.m. April 26, 2013, to Rachel Ann (Zimmer) and Jacob Mathew Martin of Scotts Valley. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces at Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center in Santa Cruz.
