• Emily Alexandra Lee was born at 4:04 p.m. Nov. 29, 2009, to Elizabeth Katherine Bertie and Scott Christian Lee of Boulder Creek. She weighed 8 pounds when she arrived at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz.
• Sarahi Serna Gomez was born at 8:38 a.m. Dec. 1, 2009, to Maria Luisa Gomez and Juan Ramon Serna of Scotts Valley at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces.
