Madison June Kurek was born to Jessica Alona (Dettman) and Kyle Denny Kurek of Ben Lomond at 6:54 p.m. Dec. 29, 2011. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces at Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center in Santa Cruz.
