Fee increase at Ben Lomond Transfer Station
The new fee schedule is available for the Ben Lomond Transfer Station and Buena Vista Landfill, with increases of a few dollars for most items and loads.
For example, garbage loads in cars, vans or trailers fewer than 8 feet in length increased from $15 to $18.
Scrap metals and electronic waste are still free to drop off, although there are now fees for appliances, water heaters and propane tanks.
