Felton animal owners alerted to Memorial Day weekend noise
Roaring Camp Railroads will host a three-day Civil War re-enactment at their facility,
5401 Graham Hill Road, over Memorial Day weekend, May 25, 26 and 27. The reenacted battles will take place during the day time and cause substantial booming noise
from cannon that can frighten pets. Roaring Camp suggests Felton residents to keep their
animals indoors during the daytime as a safety measure to keep them from running away
because of the noise. For information about the re-enactments: www.roaringcamp.com

State Board of Equalization’s Compliance and Outreach Program. The BOE has targeted
15 zip codes in California. The visits are intended to educate retailers about properly

The BOE will make door-to-door visits and ask only business-related questions.
Businesses found to be operating without a seller’s permit are provided instructions on
how to register along with information about other necessary licenses. Home-based
businesses are not visited, according to the BOE.
Other areas visited include Bakersfield, Baldwin Park, Cambria, Carpinteria, Culver City,
North Hollywood, San Jose, San Juan Capistrano, Sutter Creek and Volcano.
