Homeowners receive foreclosure help
Keep Your Home California, a $2 billion federal program, launched a new, easier-to-use website www.KeepYourHomeCalifornia.org.
The program helps homeowners who have suffered a financial hardship save their homes from foreclosure.
More than 100 mortgage-servicers are on board. Homeowners can see if they are eligible, and find which program works best for them at the site. The site also provides a list of mortgage servicers and HUD-approved housing counselors who provide support. Nearly 22,000 homeowners have been helped with $260 million through the federal program to date. For information: 888-954-5337.
