County animal shelter offers discount canine adoptions
The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is experiencing an overload of dogs at their shelter. Adopting out animals helps open up space at their open-admission shelter for other animals that need Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter’s help.
To encourage more dog adoptions, the adoption price for all puppies and dogs will be half price through May 15.
The fees include spay/neuter, microchip (including registration), age-appropriate vaccinations and Felv/FIV testing, routine treatment for fleas/worms, and a free pet wellness exam with local participating veterinarians.
