A celebration of life will be held June 29 for lifelong San Lorenzo Valley resident Leslie Anne Eiriksson (Stirling) who died in Boulder Creek. She was 56.
Caltrans partially through with Highway 9
Caltrans officials have announced the re-opening Highway 9 at 7:00 p.m. on, September, 24. However, the portion that is opening is at Northern Henry Cowell Boundary from Felton to the Paradise Park Community. On Highway 9, a one-mile section from Marker 3.55 to 4.4, there will be one more week of one-way reversing traffic control Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Arrests on East Zayante Dr. in Felton
On Thursday, October 29, four men were arrested on the 10000 block of East Zayante Dr. in Felton. A Public Information Release Search Warrant led detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Team and Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team to serve a search warrant. Acting on an anonymous tip, the detectives seized 21 firearms, cocaine, heroin, prescription medications, and 40 pounds of processed marijuana.
