Caltrans work on the Mount Hermon Road Highway 17 onramp heading south toward Santa Cruz has slowed traffic on Mount Hermon Road this morning.

Friends and neighbors are flocking to the aid of a Felton family who found their home destroyed by a nighttime fire that began in an empty neighboring house and spread on the early morning hours of Thursday, Jan. 9. The fire consumed an empty home at 6794 Highway 9 in Felton and severely damaged the neighboring home.

Every 9 minutes in the United States a family experiences a fetal or early infant loss. On April 11, 2011, Katrina and Matt DeWolf became one of those families when their first-born daughter was stillborn. The day before their daughter Aurelia’s funeral, Matt DeWolf completed a memorial video.
