Mural, pantry opening kicks off new era for aid organization

About 50 people gathered outside the headquarters of Mountain Community Resources Thursday, June 13 to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the organization’s expanded food distribution service and to dedicate a mural adorning its downtown Felton building.

City to study sending recycled water to Pasatiempo

The Scotts Valley City Council voted last week to move forward with a plan that, if realized, would mean the sale of a portion of the city’s recycled wastewater to irrigate the courses at nearby Pasatiempo Golf Club.
